Cardiovascular Simulation Training Laboratory
The first in Poland Cardiovascular Simulation Training Laboratory will be the mile stone both in the history of polish cardiovascular world for children and for The Children’s Memorial Health Institute. Paediatric interventional cardiology is incredibly difficult and precise due to extremely narrow vessels. Modern simulation techniques will prepare physicians to work in interventional cardiology. Within last 5 years it was possible to train only 28 doctors. Now, with the new training laboratory there will be a chance for 40-60 doctors per year from the whole country. At the same time it will be a very special place for those, who are working now at The Children’s Memorial Health Institute, giving tchem possibility to prepare all the details before planned interventions using 3D printer for the heart models connected with the symulator.
